I am looking for a couple movies similar to American Beauty, Office Space, etc. that deal with people breaking out of the mold of American society. I guess I am interested in any sort of film, including documentaries, that critiques American society. Just a bored college student home for the summer feeling some malaise and looking for some thought provoking films before I start reading again after my brain recovers from finals.|||Not sure about American Beauty-style critiques of the American Way of Life... but how about these documentaries, all thought-provoking and critical, each in its own way:
