Why do americans like movies with no decency & no taste like hangover & american pie? that how they are?

are americans really this way? do american intelligence so low that they like bottom of the barrel movies like hangover %26amp; american pie?|||have you ever met an american? they have about the level of intelligence of a mildly retarded thirteen year old - and no class, no taste. total brainless bottom feeders|||Well because we have freedom of speech, ANY movie company can make whatever piece of crap movie they want and there will always be some people who will go to see it. That goes with the territory in a free country.

BUT if you look at American movies that bring in the most money... which means the most people are going to see it... They are consistently decent family/values-oriented movies... not the violent, shallow stuff you are (rightfully) criticizing. Violent/Sexual movies often even get more media coverage, because they are controversial, but that does NOT mean they are the most popular in American culture.

There's a standing joke in America that if the critics hate a movie, most families will love them.|||'Cause they enjoy watching mindless but funny comedy more than asking mindless but not funny questions on the internet.

You are a fool.|||Well, we are just showing dirty slapstick humor and nudity......just like the rampant nudity and dirty slap stick humor I saw on TV in EUROPE during daytime hours.|||American Pie was pretty awful, but it was funny. I haven't seen the other one, and don't care to.|||Our intelligence is good enough to include good grammar.|||Why did Osama have a bigger porn collection than Larry Flint ??|||Not all Americans cupcake... Check my bio...|||There is too much propaganda in the world.|||It's entertainment.....lighten up. If you don't like them, don't go see them.|||Some Americans like these movies, I'm American and have no interest.|||OK..

Are you done making yourself look like a moron? Or is there more?|||LOL, are you a Brit who grew up watching Benny Hill?
