Are American movies in Greece in English with Greek subtitles?

I'm going to be in Greece when the last Harry Potter comes out.. my grandmother said that the movie would be in English with Greek subtitles but I don't think she's seen a movie there in a long time.. anyone know if this is true?|||ALL foreign movies are with Greek subtitles for both cinema and TV viewing. So you don't have to worry about Harry Potter.


If you are American you may have a small problem of the British English, but I'm sure that will not inconvenience you a lot.|||Harry poeter is hard to interperte so unfortuanaley you wil have to understand...east finchely english..








there is at least 50 type of different englsih spoken in london alone...... ..i mean all you have to do is cross the london bridge down to fleet street and u get people talking through thier...@$$ it is englsih but god knows whatt ehy talkign about?|||Go to France and everything is in that language. Go to Italy and there is English and Italian. Go to the Hellenic republic/ Greece and much is in both.|||Movies in Greece have subtitles. So you can watch the movie in the original language. Only cartoons are dubbed to Greek, don't worry. :) And as far as I know, Harry Potter movies are never dubbed!!|||Yes. All of American movies come with English with Greek subtitles.


Only cartoons are sometimes subbed, and in this case, you can to choose subbed, or with English voice/Greek subtitles.|||Dont worry, Greeks can read. So no reason for dubbing and destroying movies as the french or germans (possibly because of the high illiteracy on those countries). Enjoy any movie at the original audio, either at cinemas or at DVD rent clubs.|||The American movies have subtitles. I haven't seen a dubbed movie here in many many years.|||In my own Country (Albania) all Greek films, come, not with English subtitles, but with Macedonian Government health warnings!
