Are Canadians allowed to audition for American movies?

I'm a Canadian and I'd like to audtion for films in America, since they get more publicity and there are way more oppurtunities to audition in America. Being a Canadian citizen, would I be allowed to audition?|||Yeah sure, unless of course you have to have an American citizenship which in some movies you do. So before auditioning try and get details on the requirements.
