For instance, after so-called "9/11" I heard that president Bush made it a point that american film producers could not make a specific film about it. Do you think that American films can reinforce some kind of racist thinking?
Btw, if you have already answered similar question from me, you don't need to answer this one.|||erm there were plenty of films about 9/11, 'farenheit 9/11' comes to mind.|||look at the racist depiction of "ghetto" robots in "transformers 2." hollywood is full of stereotyped, feigned token "minorities" characters. fake depictions, fake accents, oh its all bogus. and movies that they tried to do about 9/11 dont even come close to capturing the horror. movies in general are going downhill and foreign films are copying from hollywood. hollywood contributes MUCH to racism|||Yes... and not just the sort of racism you might think... have you noticed in American films the English actors always play the bad guy????
I think if you're talking about films made about 9/11, people are understandably very sensitive about it, movie producers want to make money, not piss people off! Also they want to feel proud of their country!
just like a films post world war 2... the germans are always the baddies!|||Yes films can be racist, they never show a black and white or mixed couple and the black guy always plays the butler, servant, driver, drug dealer, etc!|||Yes, flims can be very racist sometimes..
