Are there any British remakes of American movies?

So America will take movies from England and make an American version of it, like the movie Death at a Funeral. It was originally an English movie but now they are making an American version of it with Chris Rock (DUMB!). So I'm wondering if the opposite ever happens. Has England taken an American movie and made an English version of it?|||Legally blondies
