What do you think of American movies about Saudi Arabia?

In the movie "Kingdom" they portray the Saudi investigators to be dumb like only Americans have to show them how to investigate. And this one was actually one of the better smarter movies there are much worse .|||well just watch them with an open mind..

hollywood loves to portray arabs, saudis, or muslims always as the bad guy.. you can see this in any movies..

and its also just the interpretation of the writer who wrote it..

also to sell a movie, you have to juice it up.. boring movies wont sell.. so like the person above says.. its probably only 50% accurate..|||First realize that American films set in the USA always portray the FBI as being better/smarter than the local investigators. Reality is the situation is almost always reversed. What the FBI does have - compared with local investigators in the USA - is maximum technology plus a basically unlimited budget. Better equipment does not equal better investigators, but you would never know it from watching American TV shows or films about the FBI.

In that way, the film "Kingdom" portrayed investigators in Saudi Arabia exactly the same way investigators in South Dakota would be portrayed.|||1) I don't know if it even would be possible for Americans taking any actions in KSA like shown in this movie.

2) No dress code for an American female investigator in Saudi?

3) The Kingdom wasn't even produced in KSA. It was made in Abu Dhabi.

Otherwise I agree with Mintee.|||They are as accurate as the JFK canceled show.|||It's Stupid!! any movie about another country is never more than 50% accurate|||i didn't watch it
